Modder ‘DooMero’ has informed us about the release of Resident Evil: Codename Hunk’s demo. Resident Evil: Codename Hunk is a total conversion mod for Doom that brings together Capcom’s horror title with id Software’s classic 2D engine/visuals.
In order to celebrate this announcement, DooMero has also released a new trailer for its total conversion mod for Doom that can be viewed below.
Those interested can download the demo from here. This demo includes a tutorial and gzdoom, and is also compatible with the Xbox360 pad on the PC.
Kudos to both DooMero and Stéphane Gana (beta tester, ideas, improve the tutorial and creaing the Resident Evil Code Name Hunk logo) for informing us.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
