DICE and EA have just announced that Star Wars: Battlefront will be officially revealed at the Star Wars Celebration event that takes place next month. Although the company did not reveal much, we kind of expect to see the first gameplay video and screenshots from this upcoming Battlefront title.
As EA wrote on the game’s website:
“We’re thrilled to share that Star Wars Battlefront will be taking part in Star Wars Celebrationnext month in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19. We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.”
Enjoy the official teaser trailer that was released back in 2013 and stay tuned for more!

they are pages of articles and news about this title yet not even one screenshot. they just sell hype these days with nothing.
yeah, the hype train has become ridiculous lately. It appears many of these companies are emulating other successful hype machines. If we knew which ones we could map out the exact release dates of media over the course of their marketing plan.
It’ll go something like this: Teaser, wait a year, teaser, wait six months, one screenshot (but it’s only a rumor, posted to Twitter then mysteriously deleted), wait 3 months, 4 screenshots scanned from a German magazine, wait three weeks, screenshots are released at 480p res, wait a month, full trailer, wait two weeks, 24 screenshots, wait a week, trailer 2, wait a week, trailer 3, wait a week, a shaky gameplay video shot with a cell phone made in 1996, wait a week, a full 1080p play through of the game is released along with a leak of all available weapons and game modes and vehicles along with 40 new screenshots and 300 interviews with the developers, wait a day, game is released and you’re already kind of tired of it.
yeah. not only that some times we get teasers for a teaser both for the games and movies. it’s like they are marketing the game and create hype for 6 years olds
i think people this time are more cautious. obviously the casuals will still follow the hype but those that spend time on gaming websites are probably more cautious now.
plus EA is behind it so that adds another layer to it.
well technically there is the name 😛 and their timing is gold with the movies. i hope it turns out good.
It was show at GDC (earlier this month) with closed doors (rumblings of it making eyes bleed from hotness)… they know they do not need long to market something this large.
It would be cool if they release the game on May the 4th 😀
I think (wish) It will be First Game in DX12.2 or maby 12.3 !
but AMD Mantle for 100%
And it will be Yaw Drop, you’ll see. I can’t tell more now 🙁 -(policy of silence)-
Nobody knows what H/W Soft it uses (Win10?) But Mantle is very propable, cuz its FrostBite
Source : DualShockers!
Hopefully there will be some lengthy gameplay. I’m excited to finally play another Star Wars game.
Nvidia game FTW
lol sure have u look at all BF’s recetly?
GTX 970 beats all the AMD hardware atm in all BF Mantle or without Mantle
Not everyone is a 60hz 1080p pleb though.
you can get 60 FPS max with a GTX 760 2GB VRAM lol with every BF game with latest GeForce Nvidia drivers
