  1. Can someone kind of calm me down?

Entered SLI profile thru nvidia inspector. Saw no Dx11 bits. Does that mean this game uses DirectX9 or openGL? What did RAGE use?

    Talking about Wolfenstein.

    1. yep it’s OpenGL, but if you want to be sure or test it with other games, use MSI Afterburner, then run the game, it tells you what DX version your game is plus frame rate and clock speed and other things

  2. So, *Wolfenstein* or *Watch Dogs* – which should I buy?

    – Wolfenstein is only 20 hours long, or so. Has Nazi-robots. id Tech 5 engine is beautiful.

    – Watch Dogs has more gameplay-for-your-dollar, but it’s Ubisoft – it will probably stutter like crazy for the next month until it’s patched, and Ubisoft does open world by giving us 6 things to do 100 times each. UPlay?

    1. ONLY? If wolfenstein is 10 good hours we are good to go. watchdogs will propably be very repettive with randomly generated samey objectives.

I say support wolfenstein for making a long singleplayer fps without dlc. Seriously no dlc, nothing, the watchdogs on the other hand has a dlc list long enough to fill the whole page.

    2. safe bet is Wolfenstein, not only it is a 15hours+ game, it has some replay value on it, i heard you can play on different timeline, maybe in that the whole settings will change. more importantly as dakan said it is a singole player only title, the means all the focus is on single player, it’s a good thing right ?

i bought watch_dogs instead, because i can’t resist openworld modern day games with cars and stuff in them. but the full game with all of it’s contents is 90$ and it’s not all of them. if you pay 60$ you only have the game, but 10$ is for 1hr content and 20$ for first season pass DLCs etc…

    3. Get Watch Dogs on Origin India for $25. Wolfenstein is single player only. Torrent or wait for a sale. It will be $10 by the Holiday Sale on Steam.

  3. While Nvidia supports their customers and updates driver for every major game even before release, AMD driver makers too busy playing guitars, what a disgrace , i will never ever buy AMD card again. And god help us on AMD cards if its only OpenGL

    1. Yet didnt bought AMD because their horrible driver for linuxOS, Nvidia wasnt that good, but now its even has some update experimental that isnt even on Windows driver!

      As FanControl, Overclock manag…

      SLI Gigabyte 770

    2. nVIDIA drivers had been terrible for several months now (almost over a year) . Most of people are still using old stable drivers instead of new ones . Things just started to get better a little bit after those performance beta drivers . Other than that , not so much .

      1. Ive had ZERO problems with ANY nvidia driver in the last 2 years (and I always update to the most current driver). I can’t same the same for AMD.

Glad to see Nvidia already has SLI profiles for games that are still 2 weeks away. AMD most likely won’t have Crossfire for watch_dogs until a month AFTER its release (as usual).

      2. Maybe for you. That last set of drivers was great. They gave me a huge performance gain in Saints Row 3, 10-20fps maybe plus no more lag when moving quickly through the city. And I haven’t had any issues.

        1. Last drivers were great but not ones released few months ago . You got lucky , check out Geforce website . You’ll barely see good comments there . I also had issue where my monitor screen went black after every few seconds . I thought my monitor was dying but later I found out through their website that their latest drivers are broken . So, I rolled back to older drivers and it fixed the problem . Now I’m using latest beta drivers that reduce CPU overhead and now it is working fine for me and lot of others as well . But that wasn’t the case few months ago . New drivers are pretty stable .

          1. lol thats becaue if the driver runs good for you, chances are you most likely wont comment will you? Hence why people who post are always negative.

Its the same rule for products you buy, people tend to only post reviews if the product is bad or deffective. The mindset for a consumer usually is that the product is expected to work and so there is no reason to post a review. Ofcourse there are exceptions but for majority of consumers, thats how it works. Thats what is taught in marketing and consumer University classes.

        2. If you are talking about 337.50…they were meant for mid-end pc’s…didn’t do jack S#It for high-end pc’s(w/ top of the line cpu) and instead caused more problems such as, broken OpenGL, and unsteady D3D performance!

          1. Exactly, never did shit for mid end PCs’s either, i now have an i5 3570K with 8 gb ram and a 750 Ti, and the 337.50 reintroduces the +137 overclock limit for this GPU when i had it over 1200 Core Clock…

          2. @ Warrior88 and KopyKat007

May I ask then what you think I should do or If you both think these new performance drivers would affect me?

            i5 4670k stock @ 3.4-3.8 GHz with boost ,EVGA GTX 770 SC,8gb ram with a asrock Z87 extreme4 mobo.

I am currently still using 334.89 from February. I have not experienced any issues,at least none that I am aware of. I did exp. some of the worst screen tearing that I’ve ever seen when I first installed my gpu.

I had to use D3DOverrider to alleviate some of it while playing Metro 2033,found out the game stuttered a lot to begin
with though. but I had it also in Crysis 1 and Borderlands 2. Eventually the screen tearing went away although I still get it in firefox while browsing. Only thing that helps is to activate win Aero.

          3. actually those drivers helped quite a bit for my PC and I am by no means mid end. GTX 680/2600k @ 4.5. AC3/AC4 and Arkham DX11 modes now run considerably better.

      3. Every driver release since the beginning of history there have always been people who flock to complain about them but the vast majority of users are fine. its the same on AMD’s side.

With a vast amount of configurations available its almost silly to pin driver issues always on Nvidia when a lot of users don’t even keep their PC’s running properly most of the time.

      4. I never had any issues with any driver from GTX680 to GTX TITAN. Your OS might need a refresh, User errors.

    3. Would you just shut up? I’m so sick of the fanboy idiocy here. And btw, I currently own an Nvidia card :p

      1. wow you wanna fight me bro? come on bring it on lol

don’t ever reply to me unless you know what you are talking about , only idiot here is you.

        1. Don’t reply to you or what? You’ll be an obnoxious little snot? You’re already doing that.

    4. they are both doing good, AMD do this with “Gaming Evolved” thing and nvidia doing it with “The Way it’s Meant to be Played” or something. if it weren’t for amd we missed the last amazing beta driver for nvidia with all those performance boosts

  4. This moderation crap is annoying.
“Hmm, maybe I should add a link to that post to be helpful.”
    *post switched to moderated*
    “@^@$&%^&^%#*#&^*^%!!!!”

  5. I hope this driver is actually stable and not like the crappy 337.50, which were just plain crap!

  6. These new drivers don’t have Wolfenstein The New Order SLI… Tried playing it and only one GPU is running at max while the 2nd GPU is idle.

Seems like there will be an update soon to fix this.
