Crimson Desert feature-5

Crimson Desert Patch 1.17.00 Released & Detailed

Pearl Abyss has released Title Update 1.17.00 for Crimson Desert and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.

From what I can see, Patch 1.17.00 is a small update with a few fixes. It does not bring any major tweaks or changes to the game’s combat or single-player campaign.

Going into more details, Update 1.17.00 fixes a problem where progress toward the “Desperate Rescue” challenge was not counted correctly. It also fixes an issue where the wrong item was placed in the quick slot after all assigned food was used. Moreover, it fixes a bug that caused the special effects of certain headgear to not work correctly in some situations.

It’s also worth noting that the patch fixes an issue where footstep sounds could overlap or animations could stutter while the player was moving. Plus, it fixes an issue where icons of unobtainable treasure chests appeared on the map, as well as an issue where trade routes appeared on the map in an abnormal way.

Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its full patch notes.
