Pearl Abyss has released Patch 1.12.02 for Crimson Desert and shared its complete changelog. From what I can see, this is the second hotfix update that the team has released for Patch 1.12.00. So, let’s see what it fixes.
Patch 1.12.02 fixes an issue where the game would frequently crash when the resolution was set to 1080p (FHD) with AMD RX 5000 Series GPUs. It also fixes an issue where the game would crash when using Photo Mode after turning off HDR while it was on. Plus, it fixes an issue where certain areas of the ocean were classified as “No Fishing Zones.”
And that’s it. Update 1.12.02 is small, around 178MB in size, and Steam will download it the next time you launch its client. At the end of the article, you can also find its full patch notes.
Speaking of Crimson Desert, here are some mods for it. A couple of days ago, I shared an HD Texture Pack for it. That pack overhauled the bark textures for all trees. That was the third HD Texture Pack for Crimson Desert. You can download the other two from here and here.
For owners of high-end GPUs, I also suggest usingĀ this mod. This mod aims to reduce the LOD pop-in issues that plagued the game. It also adds grass shadows, making scenes look more realistic and less flat.
Another cool mod is the character creator mod. This lets you build your own character by using the barber. It includes 98 face presets and 159 hairstyles for females. It also includes almost all the males. Plus, it supports the human, Orc, and Goblin races. You can download it fromĀ here.
Stay tuned for more!
