Resident Evil Requiem VR Mod

Resident Evil Requiem VR Mod V1.1 Released & Detailed

Modder ‘Talemann’ has released Version 1.1.0 for his amazing VR Mod for Resident Evil Requiem. This new version brings a lot of new features. So, let’s take a closer look at it.

Version 1.1 now has Full ARM IK. Now, your full body is visible, and every costume that works in flat should also work
in VR now. Moreover, you nou can now see the entire arms, and the perspective has been adjusted accordingly in the motorcycle section.

It’s also worth noting that this new version adds real per-weapon recoil and haptic feedback. Players can also manually throw throwables. To do this, you’ll have to press the right grip button to activate, swing, and then release the grip.

And that’s not all. The mod also supports real two-handed weapon rotation. You can now reach out to your weapon with the LEFT hand to support it as always. Once the left hand is DOCKED, you press and HOLD BOTH grip buttons to rotate the weapon around.

All in all, this is a must-have mod for those who want to experience Resident Evil Requiem in VR. You can go ahead and download the mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a video that highlights some of its new features.

It’s funny that Capcom has not invested in adding official VR support to this latest Resident Evil game. Both Resident Evil 7 and Village had VR support for Sony’s consoles. However, those VR modes never made it to PC. They were exclusive to PlayStation. And now, there is no VR support for any platform. That’s kind of a bummer.

In case you are into VR gaming, I also suggest taking a look at these other VR mods. Half-Life 2 already has a VR Mod, as do Half-Life 2: Episode One and Episode Two. In September 2023, we also shared VR Mods for Portal 2 and Far Cry. Then we have these VR Mods for Resident Evil 4 Remake and Trespasser. Additionally, you can play Hogwarts Legacy in VR with this mod.

But wait, there are more. In November 2024, we shared a VR Mod for Silent Hill 2 Remake. Plus, Manor LordsWorld of Warcraft and Hellblade 2 also have their own cool VR mods. Oh, and let’s not forget the VR mod for Halo and Crysis.

Have fun!
