A few days ago, we informed you about the release of the unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. And today, we have some new PC gameplay footage from it, in which we get to see Venom for the first time.
As you can see, the unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is fully playable. Yes, it’s not perfect and there are some missing textures. I also spotted some stutters. However, for an unofficial PC port, it looks pretty solid.
Now I wouldn’t advise downloading this unofficial PC port. After all, it isn’t up to what you’d expect from a PC release. Yes, you can play and finish the entire game. However, there are still a lot of glitches and bugs. Let’s also not forget that this is illegal and that the current PC build is around 256GB in size.
From what I know, the development team behind it is still working on it. So, in theory, we might get a more polished version in the future. Right now, I’d like the team to add all of the game’s textures and shaders. Once that’s done, I’d like to see some menus and support for KB&M.
For what it’s worth, Sony and Insomniac have not announced yet this game for the PC. According to a leaked contract between Sony and Marvel, we know that both Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Venom will come out on PC. In fact, Insomniac’s leaked documents hint at a FY2025 release. So, it’s just a matter of time.

Be extra careful with what you’ll be downloading. I can guarantee you that a lot of fake torrent files have already popped up. So, consider this a warning.
Lastly, for those wondering, there haven’t been any leaked PC builds for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 and Marvel’s Venom.

i never understood how people can get excited for something like this. It is such a waste of time when you know that Insomniac will bring it to PC in 2025. I’d rather have modders put their time and effort into games from a bygone era that deserve to ported to PC.
This is not the spider-man 2 i wish to see ported to PC, last few weeks i’ve been playing Spider-Man 2 (2004 game) on the Xbox Emulator XEMU and honestly, it still remains the best Spider-Man game ever made, i wish the greatly talented people who are trying to bring the ps5 game to pc would do the same for the 2004 game.
