Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 coming to PC in FY2025

According to the huge Insomniac leak that occurred yesterday, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be coming to PC in FY2025. This means we can expect it sometime between April 2024 to March 2025.

Insomniac plans to invest $4.6 million in developing the PC version, as highlighted by Installbaseforum’s Aquamarine. What’s interesting here is that this amount is nearly twice the cost incurred for porting Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered to the PC. And, from the looks of it, Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 will be also coming to our platform.

Here are all the PC port budgets from the Insomniac leak.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PC Port: $2.5 million
– FY21: $0.1 million
– FY22: $0.9 million
– FY23: $1.6 million

Spider-Man Remastered PC Port: $2.3 million
– FY21: $0.4 million
– FY22: $1.9 million
– FY23: $0.0 million

Spider-Man Miles Morales PC Port: $1.5 million
– FY21: $0.2 million
– FY22: $1.2 million

Spider-Man 2 PC Port: $4.6 million
– FY22: $0.0 million
– FY23: $0.6 million
– FY24: $4.0 million
– FY25: $0.0 million

Wolverine PC Port: $4.0 million
– FY26: $2.0 million
– FY27: $2.0 million

Spider-Man 3 PC Port:
– FY27: $7.0 million

This leak also re-confirms Insomniac’s plans to release Marvel’s Wolverine on PC. As we’ve reported, a PC dev build from it has already been leaked online. And no, don’t expect us to be linking to it. Plus, be warned that there are already various fake zip files for it that are filled with viruses. So, be extra careful with what you’re downloading it.

Yesterday, we also shared the Steam sales for most of the PlayStation Studios games that came out on PC. As I’ve already said, that graph is from February 2023. As such, it does not have any sales numbers for The Last of Us Part I.

Finally, you should keep in mind that all of the leaked info is from February 2023. As such, Sony’s plans may have slightly changed. Still, this falls in line with what we’ve predicted. After the PC port of Horizon: Forbidden West, we’ll most likely get God of War: Ragnarok and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. I still have hopes though for Ghost of Tsushima and Demon’s Souls. Let’s not forget that both of them appeared on the GeForce Now Leak. So, make it happen, Sony.

Stay tuned for more!
