Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod adds support for DLSS Ultra Quality & DLAA

Modder ‘stoker25’ has released a version of DLSSTweaks for Red Dead Redemption 2 that adds support for DLSS 2 Ultra Quality and DLAA.

For those unaware, DLSSTweaks is a wrapper DLL that can force DLAA onto DLSS-supported titles. For Red Dead Redemption 2, you can use an updated DLSS DLL by setting the OverrideDlssDll setting to the path of an nvngx_dlss.dll outside of the game folder, so that RGL won’t be able to overwrite the DLSS you’ve chosen.

By enabling the ForceDLAA option, you can make all DLSS levels act as DLAA. Moreover, DLSSTweaks can allow the game to use an extra “Ultra Quality” DLSS preset, which normally wouldn’t be available for use. Players can customize this preset to any scaling ratio they like by simply enabling the DLSSQualityLevels section & uncommenting the UltraQuality line.

You can download the DLSSTweaks Mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 from here.

Lastly, and speaking of RDR 2, we suggest downloading the following HD Texture Packs for it. For starters, there is this AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack which overhauls all weapons. Additionally, you can download an HD Texture Pack that overhauls the hair of all pedestrians. Here is also an HD Texture Pack that enhances all ground & rock textures, as well as a pack that improves all vegetation textures. Furthermore, there is a mod that overhauls the interior lighting. And lastly, there are packs for smallmedium & large mammals.

Have fun!

  1. I’ve been using DLAA in every DLSS 2 supported game, it’s just great. And it gives a way more stable image and way better clarity than TAA ever can.

    1. Dlaa really looks no better than TAA in Forza Horizon 5 but adds unacceptable ghosting. Works well in Spider-Man though.

      1. I agree about the ghosting! I was quite disappointed about that. Yu can really see it when running the benchmark and go under the first glowing banner.

  2. Still No MOD that removes the black and white flashing when you kill in slow motion in KILL EFFECT. That should be in color you know.
