Rockstar has just released a brand new update for Grand Theft Auto 5 on all platforms. And although the team has not revealed its complete changelog, it has added some Enhanced Edition files to the PC version.
This basically confirms that GTA 5 Enhanced Edition will be indeed coming to PC. However, we still don’t know whether PC gamers will have to pay for it. Since this is Rockstar and Take-Two we’re talking about, I’m certain that this will be a paid-DLC/paid-update.
For what it’s worth, these Enhanced Edition files are inactive right now. As such, there is no way right now to force (or even datamine) this Enhanced Edition.
According to an incomplete changelog. the April 26th Patch addresses some solo public lobby-related issues. It also adds some UI and Option changes, and fixes some game freezing issues. Moreover, it packs some gameplay optimizations, general stability fixes, minor bug fixes, and resolves some glitches.
GTA 5’s April 26th Patch is 1GB in size on PC, and the Rockstar launcher will automatically download it the next time you launch its client.

Although I don’t think it’d be a paid update, as version control dictates all users would need to be on the same version for online multiplayer.

Is there any real need? The game is so old that it runs on a toaster at 60fps at this point. I doubt adding some half-arsed ray tracing that’s weak enough for consoles to handle is going to change much.
TAA would be very nice like a very good ver of it Nvidia’s TXAA or whatever is terrible to me in this game it’s SO blurry. Heck the main reason i said DLSS is over it replacing the AA in the game lol i mean dude there’s so much shimmering even at 4X MSAA + TXAA which is what i game on and that is at 1440P
