Resident Evil Remake Unreal Engine 4

Resident Evil Remake in Unreal Engine 4 with over the shoulder camera

Last week, we shared a video showing Resident Evil Remake in Unreal Engine 4 with a first-person camera. And today, Residence of Evil shared a video showing MoonGlint’s Resident Evil Remake project with an over the shoulder camera.

This new camera viewpoint makes this classic remake feel more like Resident Evil 4. And, I’m pretty sure that most Resident Evil 4 fans will find this video cool.

Now I’d really love to play this fan remake in both first-person and over-the-shoulder modes. However, and at least from what we know so far, MoonGlint has not released this remake to the public yet. Also note that MoonGlint has recreated part of the Spencer mansion, and not the entire game.

Speaking of Unreal Engine 4 fan remakes, I also suggest taking a look at the Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Fan Remake in Unreal Engine 4. There is also a Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II Remake, an incredible Batman 1989 fan video, and a playable Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero Fan Remake.

Enjoy!

  1. Kinda cool, indeed.
I’m playing this game right now for the second time since it came out.
Love it. Will play zero remake next.

  2. For Resident Evil games I’m good with third person OTS and fixed cameras but I hate first person. In a franchise with legendary characters like Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy going first person resulted in the (officially) faceless and forgettable Ethan Winters.
