Final Fantasy 7 Remake new feature

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will most likely come to PC in 2022, Playstation exclusivity extended

Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, in which it revealed that its Playstation exclusivity has been extended. According to the team, the game will be available exclusively on PS5 for at least six months.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake was originally a Playstation exclusive for at least a year. Since Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be coming to PS5 in June, we can assume that the rumored PC version will not come out until 2022.

There is no doubt that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be coming to additional platforms. I mean, that’s what the note clearly states. However, we don’t know whether Square Enix will pull a “Lost Judgement” or “Judgement” on us.

In case you did not know, SEGA announced earlier this year that Judgement would be coming to PS5, Xbox Series S|X and Stadia in April. Moreover, SEGA announced today that its sequel, Lost Judgement, will release on PS and Xbox platforms on September 24th. There is currently no word on when – and if – these two games will hit the PC.

Lastly, I’ve included below the latest trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. While this is for PS5, it includes the message about the PS5 exclusivity deal.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. Uh oh. PC won’t get an incomplete, dumbed down, censored pile of digital s**t, for another extended period of time. How will we manage?

    1. I bet you are going to play those sweet PC exclusives lie… like… hmm another pixeletaed indie junk.

Lets be honest, console ports make for about 95% of PC AAA games. Its just how it is and always will be. In fact because crypto miners etc its gonna be worse and PC will be dead in several years since no one will be able to afford any decent gaming PC. In fact we are looking at last popular generation of PC hardware its downhill from know on.

Even Chinese developers that hate Japan started making exclusive AAA games for Sony. PC is dead.

I don’t intend to buy soystation but lets face reality, PC is nothing without console ports.
Switch alone got more exclusive and very good games then PC had in last 10years unless you like those garbage indie games PC gets.

Also FF7R is not censored, they changed Midgard story so or rather show us what’s going behind scenes so modern muricans can understand what’s going on.

Gameplay is hardly dumbed down, i think ppl like you never played original FF7, it was literary choosing attack command 99,9% of time. Such complicated experience.

      1. PS5 is already dead cuz you literally cant get one. Devs can’t get the PS5 sale money if there is no PS5 to get the game for. Exclusivity is just covering the money lost from sales at this point.

  2. Not sure why Sega is ignoring PC release for Judgement Game on PC when they started releasing Yakuza games in PC.

    1. While i agree with the sentiment, specially since Lost Judgement is already announced to Xbox, i feel like we should get the announcement of the PC version in the E3 in a couple of weeks.

    2. Cause Stadia has a ball leash on it. Exclusivity ends on Stadia and then likely Steam soon after

  3. And we should expect a part 2 several years later with exclusivity as well. And maybe this game is going to be a EpicGames timed exclusive.

  4. That’s a standard business deal. Nothing particularly shocking really.
Not the first and not the last.

    1. but entitled pc elitist that are here are too young to understand that. I love how they say PC doesn’t need console ports yet they whine so much when deals like that are made.

    1. Pretty much my thing too. No point in bothering with the Japanese, if they are going to screw PC like this.

Happens near the start of every gen as well.

  5. why even extend the exclusivity? They just gave it away on ps+… they certainly can’t be making much money on sales for this game anymore. Don’t care regardless

  6. Sh*t like this tempts me to pirate but I just won’t bother. They don’t deserve any of our money or time for treating us like 2nd class citizens.

    1. Just be like me and give your money to other devs that don’t treat us like 2nd class and give us the time of day.

These guys and other pubs have had years if not decades worth of chances to turn around, and they keep messing it up.

  7. So at the rate this is going we’ll be getting FF7 remake on PC around the time the PS5 scalper softlaunch is over, might as well just call it a simultaneous release.

  8. I ain’t buying part 1 for full price nearly 3 years later, lmao, sod that.

SE basically don’t want PC gamer’s money no more at this rate, full on in bed with Sony/Epic.
