Here are six minutes of gameplay footage from Boundary

IGN has shared a video, showing six minutes of gameplay footage from the upcoming multiplayer tactical space-based shooter, Boundary. Boundary feels similar to Futuremark’s Shattered Horizon, so make sure to watch this video if you were fans of that title.

Boundary will put players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types. Furthermore, there will be 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.

The modes that will be available at launch are: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Facility Capture, and Orbital Purge modes. In case you’re wondering, Facility Capture and Orbital Purge will be based around Domination and Elimination gameplay.

As we’ve already reported, Boundary will feature real-time Ray Tracing effects on the PC. However, it appears that those effects may be too expensive if the game’s official benchmark tool is anything to go by.

Boundary is currently planned for a 2020 release on the PC, and you here are also its official PC system requirements.

Enjoy!

  1. Isn’t space where most properties are taken…….. to die? So these guys thought that taking a shooter in to space, was…. unique?

This looks generic as f**k, and really, it’s “another shooter”. Pretty sure the world has been full up on shooters for the past 10 years and counting.

not really, plenty of good space-based games but I agree this one specifically looks like trash.

  2. Another multiplayer title. SJW’s are so lonely they need to do everything in herds, even playing games. As soon as they are alone with their thoughts mental illness kicks in.

No other explanation, this is why we have so many multigayer games. And of course they are cheap to make and you don’t need to hire a narrative team.

  3. The only good thing about the game is the visuals/lighting, and the assets quality.
The game will literally get boring in a day!
