Borderlands 3 feature

Borderlands 3 is coming to Steam on March 13th, will be still using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech

2K Games and Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 3 will be coming to Steam on March 13th. Moreover, the game will be still using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. So yeah, those boycotting the Denuvo games will most likely pass on it.

Gearbox and 2K also unveiled a content roadmap outlining the events and updates coming to Borderlands 3 this Spring. This new content will be free to all players.

First up in April are Mayhem Mode 2.0 and the Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event. Mayhem Mode 2.0 will overhaul Borderlands 3’s end-game by reinventing the ways in which Mayhem modifiers work. Revenge of the Cartels, on the other hand, will see you tracking down and taking out cartel operatives to earn event-specific rewards.

Then in May, the second Takedown will arrive. Much like Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite, the Guardian Takedown will offer some of the most challenging content. This intense standalone mission will be themed after the mysterious Eridians and will feature not only new bosses but new gear and cosmetics as well. The difficulty will scale to the size of the player party by default. However, if you want to experience the Takedown in its true form, you can select “True Takedown Mode,” which tunes the difficulty for a party of four fully leveled-up Vault Hunters regardless of party size.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. Just glad I don’t have the patience of a two year old. Never touched anything with this cancer DRM, and never will. Much less this pile of s**t in particular.

I’m sure RE3 will have this garbage in it, and I’ll just have to wait for a crack, or until Capcom remove it to pick it up.

Not like I’m about to run out of things to play in the meantime. My backlog is about 2 or 3 lifetimes worth of stuff.

Job well done, Denuvo. Keep legit buyers at bay, and keep saving us money. Thumbs up.

  2. Borderlands 3 got cracked months ago. I don’t see the point in leaving Denuvo in the game. It’s like blocking a small hole in a dam from leaking when half the dam has already broken to pieces.

    1. Best analogy in a while brother. I shall use this. But that’s just it with Denuvo, I don’t understand this process. Square Enix have never removed DENUVO from their games, the only person the game is being protected from is paid customers. Damn, what a shame to admit this. But piracy really keeps games alive.

  3. 6 years ago I use to buy 3 or sometimes 5 games every month. With the advent of Denuvo that number dropped to 3 games a year. Then came epic store which dropped that number to zero games a year. I’ve saved so much money I was able to rebuild my PC December 2018 the same week my mother board & GPU Died. AMAZING, #FCKDRM…
