Dragon Age new-1

Bioware teases Dragon Age 4 reveal for December 4th [UPDATE]

Bioware has teased a possible official reveal for Dragon Age 4. Although the team did not reveal any specific details, it tweeted that it will join the Dragon Age community party on December 4th. Furthermore, Bioware ended its tweet with “Dragon 4ge”, clearly hinting at the fourth part of the franchise.

Back in December 2018, and during the VGA show, Bioware released a teaser trailer for the next Dragon Age game. Since then, the company has not released any concept art, screenshot or trailer for Dragon Age 4. After all, and as we reported back in 2018, the game was in a really early stage.

My guess is that Bioware may reveal another CG trailer for Dragon Age 4. I’m merely guessing here so take it with a grain of salt. Still, I’ll be really surprised if we actually get an in-engine trailer. That is of course if the trailer is not another “smokes and mirrors” trailer like the E3 trailer for Anthem.

But anyway, there is nothing more to add at this point. According to rumours, Dragon Age 4 had a troubled development cycle (however these are rumours and nothing more).

Stay tuned for more!

UPDATE:

As pointed out by our reader Dais, Dragon 4ge may be referring to the date of the event (December 4th) and not to Dragon Age 4.

    1. It wont mess like Andromeda, but in return you got tons of gay and sjw character to experienced…

  1. They’re calling it DA:4 but I get a feeling it’s more DA:I 2. Fetch quests and collectathons… It’s all the current Bioware seems to know how to make these days.

  2. There are no news coming on 12/4. DA Day is not a Bioware thing, it’s made by the fans. The studio just happened to chimed in this year saying they’ll show some appreciation to this fan-event this year. Don’t expect any news, it never was meant to be one.

  3. Be prepared for another live service much in the style of anthem. EA wont stop the BS. Weve seen they arent afraid to butcher a franchise to milk consumers and degrade their reputation as well as their properties.

    1. Maybe look at Anthem’s ‘success’ and then look at NFS Heat & Jedi Fallen Order before jumping to such stupid facts? If anything, EA is moving away from GaaS model.

    2. Shortly after EA shut down the studio behind Andromeda they rebooted Dragon Age and right after EA announced they wouldnt greenlight any more non live service titles from that point forward so yeah it is guarenteed to be some multiplayer game. I think itll be somehing along the lines of Inquisition multiplayer, wave based co-op dungeon grinding style rpg.

    1. and i would like to go back in time and prevent Marx from becoming a thing by smothering him in his cradle. But i guess we have to keep dreaming.

    1. No surprise here, all western devs can be safely assumed to be infected by default, especially the AAA ones.

  4. Teasing a reveal for a game in a franchise which has been all but entirely destroyed, and nobody gives a crap about anymore. Brought to you by the brilliant marketing minds at, EA.

  5. Hello, this comment is to Mr Papadopoulos. December 4th actually isn’t about BioWare doing something for Dragon Age 4. December 4th is “Dragon Age Day.” It was a fan created event, starting in 2018 as a day “created by the fans for the fans” so to speak.

It was intended as a Dragon Age equivalent of Mass Effect’s N7 Day (which takes place every November 7th). The day Dec 4 was originally chosen b/c of the similarity of the letter 4 to A. This year, most of the iconography and branding has removed the 4 specifically to reduce the confusion of being affiliated specifically with “Dragon Age 4.”

There is more information available at their website, http://www.dragon4geday.com. They have an email on their Contact page, I’m sure they’d love to answer any questions you may have.

I hope you are able to publish a correction, and that you have a nice week.

    Thanks,
    Dais

    1. The Outer Worlds is actually on the more subtle and tolerable side of the woke spectrum, any current Bioware game is guaranteed to be far more blatant.
