D3 Publisher has announced that EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN will be coming to the PC on October 15th. In addition, the publisher has revealed the game’s official PC system requirements that you can find below.
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN is an action third-person shooter where you will become one of the EDF soldiers. Players will become the legendary mobile soldier which controls 4 different PA Gears, several hundreds weapons, arms and items.
The game features over 50 severe missions, where you must fight against gigantic enemy creatures and huge invader weapons in 5 different difficulties. It will also feature a character creation mode, as well as support for online and offline modes.
According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-8100 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti or an AMD Radeon HD 7790. The game will also require 24GB of free hard-disk space.

This is the western spinoff made by a different developer.
Remember how Sandlot made all the good EDF games and then Insect Armageddon came out made by a western dev and it was sh*t? Well, Iron Rain is kinda like that, except this time it’s actually pretty good.
the only good thing about insect armageddon was that you could buy guns instead of randomly finding them.

While the game is pandered towards Western audiences, it’s made by Japanese developers unlike Insect Armaggedon.
It’s a spinoff
No, it’s a offshoot game. Similar, but different.
They should have saved the money for EDF 6, these spinoffs D3Publisher does can’t even touch the mainline games.
Heard this one is slightly better than Insect Armaggedon though, so it might be enjoyable.
At least it won’t be unfinished with a rushed ending.
