Doom Eternal will be playable at Quakecon Europe 2019 this July

Bethesda has announced that it will host ‘QUAKECON Europe’ at Printworks, London, across 26-27 July. Not only that, but there will be a public playable demo for all those that attend this event, allowing them to get their hands on this highly anticipated shooter.

As the press release reads, and fresh for the ‘Year of DOOM’, fans attending can expect to gain hands-on access to the latest and greatest games that Bethesda has to offer. Doom Eternal takes centre stage across this two-day event and will be publicly playable for the first time outside of North America. In addition to this, a range of existing and unreleased titles will be available to play.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood, RAGE 2, QUAKE Champions, Fallout 76 and The Elder Scrolls Online will be just a few of the other titles available to play, but that’s not all. Not only will QUAKECON Europe host the first hands-on Doom Eternal fan experience outside of North America, but it will also offer opportunities for fans to see where it all began with a retro area showcasing the humble beginnings of DOOM.

Further experiences at the convention will include art galleries, panels from games industry experts, a table top corner, and a chance to meet some of Bethesda’s development talent.

  1. “Doom Eternal will be playable”

” In addition to this, a range of existing and unreleased titles will be available to play.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood, RAGE 2, QUAKE Champions, Fallout 76 and The Elder Scrolls Online ”

Oh Doom Eternal will be playable alright but will Fallout 76 be “playable”?

  2. Still? It was supposed to launch early 2019, but apparently it won’t be out until probably august or later…What the fck are you people doing i don’t understand.

    1. The E3 demo they showed looked very polished. Besides there was some rumor ut was to come out Q1 2019, then Q2 now they announced a DEMO will be playable at quake con at the end of july, basically end of Q3, so it means the game will probably out in Q4 hopefully…I mean i understand polishing, but, this much? Sounds weird to me…

      1. I know, but that was what someone hinted to, 2020 would be pretty much a stretch, an exaggeration…Anyway i want it to be good, or at least as good as last one, so…May they take whatever time they need.

  3. “Fallout 76… will be… available to play”

Are they trying to deter people from attending the event? ?

    1. Now now, dont be that guy, finally Fallout 76 will be “playable” as oppose to the dumpster fire that is has been so far.

  4. Battlefield V will be getting RSP in the fall with full on server control like the old days 😀

    1. Dude STFU, no one cares about your EA FILTH. Praising a piece of schitt IP for finally getting something that was the norm, 20/25 years ago. Miss me with this garbage, Genderfield V. People like you is why EA/WB games is still around peddling their garbage. You Shillzoid…

    2. In the old days of Battlefield I’d be playing 3 different Total Conversion mods 8 months after launch after they launched with dedicated servers.

F*k EA and f*k the consolized monetizes live service garbage that is NuBattlefield and EA DICE.
