Here are Sekiro and Resident Evil 2 Remake running in 8K/Max settings on two NVIDIA RTX Titan GPUs

YouTube’s ‘ThirtyIR’ has shared two videos, showing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Resident Evil 2 Remake running in glorious 8K with Max settings. In order to achieve something like that, ThirtyIR used two NVIDIA RTX Titan GPUs in SLI.

Sekiro appears to be working great with some custom SLI compatibility bits, though it appears to be suffering from some micro-stuttering issues. Still, the game can run with 60fps on the setup that ThirtyIR used.

On the other hand, the SLI scaling in Resident Evil 2 Remake is not that great. The game was running with framerates between 35-53fps and SLI scaling was, most of the time, around 80-90%. As such, it would make more sense to lock the game at around 40fps until NVIDIA and Capcom release a proper SLI profile (if that ever happens).

Now as we’ve already said, 8K gaming is currently a luxury and will not become mainstream anytime soon. Not only that, and even though it requires two of the most powerful GPUs available to the market, 8K gaming is possible even on modern-day titles like Resident Evil 2 Remake.
