Here’s Fallout 4 with over 300 mods and Reshade Ray Tracing

DigitalDreams has shared a video, showcasing Fallout 4 with over 300 mods and Reshade Ray Tracing. This video will give you an idea of what Bethesda’s RPG can look when heavily modded.

The Youtuber has shared the list of mods that they have used. As such, players can make the game look similar to what has been shown. Furthermore, DigitalDreams highlighted one specific mod, called NAC X. NAC X is the most comprehensive modular weather, lighting and visual overhaul for Fallout 4.

Speaking of Fallout 4, we also suggest taking a look at the following mods. Whispering Hills is a cool Silent Hill mod and The Wilderness Mod adds a worldplace that is as big as Nuka World. Moreover, Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2 Chapter 2 adds new quests and a game mode. Furthermore, this mod aims to overhaul the AI of the NPCs. There is also a 3.7GB Mod that adds 14 different weapons. Not only that, but the Galac-Tac Mercs and Music Mod is yet another DLC-sized expansion that features 30 new quests. Lets’ also not forget this mod that adds an unofficial Photo Mode. You can also find a mod that adds 10 thousand trees to the game. And lastly, this mod adds new creatures, world bosses and crafting recipes.

Have fun!

    1. I bet this john papudopalus guy loves whatever garbage with crazy numbers, “ohhh this plastic bimbo with 750 surgeries and rock solid bolt ons looks so beautiful and natural”
I literally open these “articles” to read the comments lmao

  1. One thing they achieved with this is ruin the Fallout aesthetic. The lighting and contrast are all over the place. The rain effect doesn’t look good compared to the vanilla version.

  2. As someone who lives there I think maybe the various mods art directions entirely missed the vibe of Massachusetts. Those trees really look nothing like the ones I look at everyday and the color tone is way too warm for the weather in that scene

  3. Too many cooks spoil the broth.

The reason Breath of the Wild running on potato Switch hardware looks better than this game with 300 mods, is because it has visual consistency.

    1. Agreed. These “showcases” the guy does of Fallout, Skyrim, Witcher 3, etc with a gorillion mods for each game are all fine examples of why less is more.

      1. At least the starting area and some other parts of the world look decent in the vanilla version. These modders always make sure to take that away because they’re used to second life visuals.

    2. Tbh, on Switch no it doesn’t, because it’s running on trash 2001 resolution.

Fire it up on Cemu at 4k 60 and then we’re talking.

  4. Doesn’t look very good imo. Completely breaks Fallout aesthetics.

His NACX and weather setup doesn’t mix well with ENB and lighting.

You can go to NACX modpage and even the author did much better examples than this “ultra modded” one.

  5. Never understood mods. Vanilla game is exactly how the game devs intended the game to look, feel and play. It’s like modifying your car = if for security or performance reasons, okay that’s fine. If it’s to change the look and feel, that’s just gaudy. An eye-sore no matter how “pretty” it looks, it’s just not how the game is supposed to look. The cringiest are the ones that mod the game until you can no longer recognize it as the same game. Disgusting.

  6. Visuals are not the biggest problem of this game.
    This game needs mods for:
    – Better writing.
    – Better story.
    – Better characters.
    – Better dialogues.
