Portal feature

Here is a Portal Nintendo 64 Demake that runs on real hardware

James Lambert is currently working on a Portal Demake for Nintendo 64 that runs on real hardware. Yesterday, Lambert shared a video from the latest build of this project, showcasing some of its features (like a working portal gun and recursive portal rendering).

Now what’s cool here is that you can go ahead and download this demake from here. As said, you can run Portal Demake on a real Nintendo 64 console. Alternatively, you can use a Nintendo 64 emulator in order to run it on your PC.

It’s really cool witnessing such demakes for older consoles. And, to be honest, I never expected the Nintendo 64 to be capable of producing something like recursive portal rendering.

Speaking of demakes, we also suggest taking a look at the following ones. As we’ve already reported, there is an amazing Bloodborne PSX Demake that you can download. Remedy has also released an amazing PS1 demake trailer of CONTROL that you must watch. There is also a lovely 32-bit demake of The Witcher 3, as well as a PSX Demake trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. And lastly, here are the PSX demakes of Resident Evil Code VeronicaElden Ring, Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil 4.

Enjoy!
