Skystone Games has released a new official gameplay trailer for its upcoming multiplayer tactical space-based shooter, Boundary. This short trailer showcases gameplay footage from the game’s latest build.
Boundary will put players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types. Furthermore, there will be 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.
The modes that will be available at launch are: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Facility Capture, and Orbital Purge modes. In case you’re wondering, Facility Capture and Orbital Purge will be based around Domination and Elimination gameplay.
As we’ve already reported, Boundary will feature real-time Ray Tracing effects on the PC. However, it appears that those effects may be too expensive if the game’s official benchmark tool is anything to go by.
Lastly, here are also its official PC system requirements!

bit low quality if you ask me. so is there any people who participated in the alpha test version of this game? from what ive seen its like call of duty in space witch can be a good thing or a bad thing. i mean for cod gameplay i dont thing i going to pay the full price (if its like 60 euro’s), but still i like to give this a spin for myself. Still thing the concept is interesting.
Who cares if it’s low or high quality, this won’t even get 100 concurrent players on steam
Boy that got downgraded HARD..
I just love the explosions in space. With ZERO oxygen…
?
looks good .
Well, it’s definitely something different.
Not a very compelling trailer tbh, they should hire the guy that does the trailers for the Battlefield franchise instead. Overall I’m exited for this one, it looks fresh and crisp.
I’m still wondering is there any Singleplayer mission will be add to this game or just Multiplayer!!
Looks good but also all those things popping on the screen kinda puts me off
The debris from broken solar panels(?) is full-black with no lighting, no reflections. Also only the sun casts shadows. Overall most scenes seem implausible now. Even the first person guns don’t look good any more. And I could clearly see some light sources hand placed in open space with no object to actually cast light there. Then there’s the extremely annoying HUD. Overall the game seems to lack a clear direction. It’s an awkward mix of realism (most of the graphics, the movement, the weaponry) and extreme “gamey” stuff like icon pop-ups for kills and random light sources that break the visual realism.
The one thing I expect will be sorted for release are the reflections. They probably realized that for performance they need to restrict ray-tracing to static geometry and maybe helmet visors. The fall back solution will no doubt be the typical reflection probes + SSR which should be easy to do in Unreal Engine.
What puzzles me is, why make a trailer at a time when your graphics are visibly broken?
