WUCHANG Fallen Feathers feature

20 minutes of gameplay footage from WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers

YouTube’s ‘Lucky Salamander’ has shared a video, showcasing 20 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. This gameplay footage is from the Summer Game Fest 2025 demo that attendees were able to play.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers takes place in the land of Shu during the late Ming Dynasty. The world is full of factions fighting each other, and a strange illness that creates monstrous creatures.

In this game, players will take on the role of Wuchang. Wuchang is a skilled pirate warrior with amnesia. So, players will have to uncover the secrets of her mysterious past while dealing with the terrifying Ornithropy disease.

As with most Souls-like games, players will upgrade their weapons and learn new skills from defeated enemies. They can also improve their fighting style by using rare Red Mercury. Moreover, they will be able to develop new techniques as they progress through their exciting adventure. So yeah, as I said, this is your typical Souls game.

Not only that, but you will be able to augment your weapons with powerful enchantments. This will allow for a unique approach to combat and strategy that suits your personal style. Or at least that’s what the devs claim.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers will be powered by Unreal Engine 5, and from what we know, it will come out this Summer. To be more precise, it will come out on July 24th. The game will be available via both Epic Games Store and Steam. In April 2025, the devs also shared its PC system requirements. According to them, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is a game I’m really looking forward to. In the video, I see a lot of dodging. This will most likely cater to those who enjoyed Black Myth: Wukong. So, if you enjoy Wukong, you will also like the combat system of WUCHANG.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
