Overgrowth Alpha 177 Changes

Wolfire Games have released a new video in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, David added an animation for swapping weapons from one hand to the other, added same-side sheathing animation and hooked up the cat scabbard as a weapon. Overgrowth looks lovely and we can’t wait till its alpha hits the ‘200’ mark (that was a joke mind you). Overgrowth Alpha 176 Changes

Wolfire Games have released a new video in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, Rosen added an active block, a scabbard wielding and sheathing, support for animating multiple weapons at once and more accurate stab decals. Overgrowth looks lovely and while we love the polishing and the attention to detail, we kind of hope that Wolfire Games will actually hit the beta phase pretty soon. Enjoy! Overgrowth Alpha 175 Changes; weapon physics added, one-handed sword fight implemented

Wolfire Games have released a new video to showcase the changed that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, the team’s programmer has added physics to the weapons that have a huge impact to the fights. In addition, David Rosen has added stances, attacks and parries for one-handed dog sword. Overgrowth Alpha 174 Changes

Wolfire Games have released today a new video in which the company’s lead programmer, David Rosen, shows off the changes that were made to the latest alpha version of the game. David added this week an effect for removing weapons that are embedded in bodies. Overgrowth Alpha 173 Changes

It’s been a while since our last look in Overgrowth, right? Well, Wolfire Games have released today a new video in which the company’s lead programmer, David Rosen, shows off the changes that were made to the latest alpha version of the game. This week, David has been experimenting with the climb/drop pathfinding AI, and the first results look quite promising. David wants to extend this AI pathfinding so it will be interesting to see what this talented programmer has in store for us. Overgrowth Alpha 167 Changes

Wolfire Games has released a new video that showcases the changes that have been made to Overgrowth’s latest alpha version. This week, Wolfire’s main programmer, David Rosen, has added sheathing and unsheathing for knives and small swords. In addition, David has improved performance impact of inactive weapons and in this latest build, players can dodge knife attacks by tapping a direction.
