Wolfenstein: Youngblood will not support real-time ray tracing at launch

Wolfenstein: Youngblood released ins a few days and it appears that it will not support real-time ray tracing at launch. This has been confirmed by the game’s executive producer Jerk Gustafsson who claims that MachineGames and NVIDIA are currently working on implementing them. Wolfenstein: Youngblood Official PC Requirements, will require 40GB of free hard-disk space

Bethesda has revealed the official PC requirements for Wolfenstein: Youngblood. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD FX-8350/Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-3570/i7-3770 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 770 (current available GPU GTX1650) or AMD equivalent. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech

Bethesda has updated the Steam store page for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, confirming that this new shooter will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Bethesda has been known for releasing its games without Denuvo, so this really surprised us (and we are certain that its inclusion may disappoint a number of gamers). Bethesda has released the E3 2019 gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein: Youngblood. In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, players will team up with a friend or play alone, level up, explore, and complete missions to unlock new abilities, weapons, gadgets, cosmetics, and more to complement their playstyle and customize their appearance. Yesterday, NVIDIA and Bethesda announced that Wolfenstein: Youngblood will support real-time ray tracing effects. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will support real-time ray tracing and NVIDIA Adaptive Shading

NVIDIA has announced that the new Wolfenstein shooter, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, will feature real-time ray tracing effects in order to improve its visuals, as well as support for the NVIDIA Adaptive Shading in order to further improve overall performance. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will not be timed-exclusive to the Epic Games Store

In a Reddit AMA, MachineGames confirmed that the next Wolfenstein game, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will not be timed-exclusive to the Epic Games Store. As such, and similarly to RAGE 2, Wolfenstein Youngblood will be coming on both the Bethesda store and Steam. Bethesda has released the first official screenshots for Wolfenstein: Youngblood via the game’s official Steam store page. This new Wolfenstein game is being developed by MachineGames and Arkane and like its predecessor, it will be using the id Tech engine.
