Darksiders II – PC Patch #3 Changelog Revealed – Live Now

THQ and Vigil Games have revealed the changelog for the third PC patch of Darksiders 2. According to the release notes, this new patch will come with new graphical options (such as Shadow map resolution, Screen Space Ambient Occlusion and Anti Aliasing), Invert X Option, Camera Auto center Toggle and a number of game fixes. This patch will go live in the near future, though THQ has not shared any ETA. Darksiders II – PC Patch #2 Is Now Available On Steam

THQ and Vigil Games has released the second PC patch for Darksiders II. According to its changelog, this new update will add a ‘Key Bindings’ option to the Pause Menu and VSync will be functional. Furthermore, the update addresses crashes in Blackstone and comes with various gameplay progressions fixes. Ironically, there is no mention about the configuration file. Our guess is that Vigil Games will fix this in a later update. This patch will be auto-downloaded from Steam and you can view its complete changelog below. Enjoy! THQ Apologises For Shoddy Darksiders 2 PC Port

Now that’s a nice surprise. THQ’s community manager Mat “Sledgehammer70” Everett apologised for the shoddy PC port of Darksiders 2. According to earlier reports, Darksiders 2 would feature a configuration file, as well as graphics options and (keyboard and mouse) controls for PC that have been tweaked specifically for PC gamers and are not tacked-on console controls. Xander Davis accuses Vigil Games for not including him in Darksiders 2 credits, Vigil Games responds to his accusations

Darksiders 2 has just been released and it seems that Xander Davis, a former Vigil Games employee was annoyed when he found out that his name was not included in the game’s credits. In a huge interview with Not Enough Shaders, Xander bashed Vigil Games and claimed that it was a nightmare working in there. Xander was a UI Designer in Vigil Games and accused both THQ and Vigil Games for leaving him – and some other co-workers – of credits. Darksiders II: Arena Mode Sneak Peak Trailer

THQ has released a new trailer in which Lead Combat Designer, Ben Cureton, introduces us to the Arena mode within Darksiders II. The Arena Mode of Darksiders II will feature 100 waves of combat (in total) and players will be given the choice of taking a price after completing five waves, or risking everything and continuing for the next waves of enemies. If players will under-powered – in the Arena mode – they will be able to develop their character in the SP mode and return to it at a later time. Vigil Games – Darksiders developers – will be working on a First Person Shooter game

Man, today we got a lot of news regarding the future projects of a lot of gaming studios. After CD Projekt RED’s multiplayer plans, it’s time to reveal Vigil Games’ next game. According to a job listing, the company is hiring a Gameplay Programmer to help design, implement, and refine the overall gameplay experience for thei next title. And that programmer must have experience working on an FPS title, meaning that Vigil’s next title will be a first person shooter. Darksiders II – PC System Requirements Revealed

THQ has revealed the official PC requirements for Darksiders 2. According to the publisher, PC gamers will need – at least – Windows XP, a Core 2 Duo Processor at 2.0Ghz, 2GB of RAM and an NVIDIA 9800 GT 512 MB Video Card or AMD equivalent. Darksiders II – New Pre-Order Bonuses; Two Additional DLC Packs included for Free

THQ today announced that all Darksiders II Limited Edition pre-orders placed via shopTHQ will receive an additional two downloadable content drops as well as an exclusive set of in-game armor and free shipping. Fear not if you don’t want to pre-order though as all DLC content packs will ship post launch and are new content not originally intended for the main game. Darksiders 2 – Last Sermon Live Action Trailer

THQ has released a live-action trailer for Darksiders 2. Awakened by the End of Days, Death, the most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen, embarks upon a quest to restore mankind, and redeem his brother’s name. Along the way, the Horseman discovers that there are far worse things than an earthly Apocalypse, and that an ancient grudge may threaten all of Creation. THQ has released the second part of Death story’s trailer for Darksiders II. Darksiders II’s epic journey propels DEATH through various light and dark realms as he tries to redeem his brother WAR, the horseman blamed for prematurely starting the Apocalypse in Darksiders.
