Far Cry 3 gets a Collector’s ‘Insane’ Edition

Ubisoft announced today the details of the UK Far Cry 3 Collector’s Edition that will be available for the X360, PS3 and PC versions of the game. This “Insane Edition” includes a 12cm Vaas Wahine with bobble head, one hour additional gameplay with a new character and his special missions, two suspenseful action packed missions totaling over 40 minutes of additional gameplay and an exclusive weapon (The Japanese gun), the Hunter, Warrior, and Predator weapon Packs, and an ‘Insanity Guide’ containing hints and tips to help you survive the island. Hilarious – Ubisoft pulls a ‘Capcom typo’ in the Collector’s Edition of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Now that’s simply hilarious. Remember those awful Capcom typos? Yeap, the ones found in Street Fighter x Tekken and the boxart of Resident Evil: Revelations? Well, it’s time now for Ubisoft to mess it up, as there is a nice typo in the Collector’s Edition of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Reddit’s member ‘MitchOnReddit’ has captured a screenshot of it that can be viewed below. Obviously, ‘acroos’ should be ‘across’. Still, it’s hilarious so go ahead and enjoy! Remember YouTube’s member Kooberz? What was that? You don’t? Shame on. Kooberz was the man behind the amazing ‘Bricks of War‘ and ‘Battle of the Brick, Built for Combat‘ LEGO videos that we featured a while ago. There is no denying that Kooberz is talented and we love all of his LEGO videos. Beyond Good & Evil 2 – Three New Screenshots; Jade’s face revealed

French Website BGE Myth has revealed three new screenshots for Beyond Good & Evil 2. These shots are from the same environment that was showcased in the previous, leaked images that were posted a couple of days ago. This time, however, we get to see how Jade – the game’s protagonist – looks like. Beyond Good & Evil 2 looks amazing and according to the developers, the game might skip this generation of consoles. According to earlier reports, the team behind BG&E2 needs more hardware to achieve their vision, therefore we can expect it to hit next-generation consoles and PC in the next following years. Enjoy! Far Cry 3’s latest footage is underwhelming and shows what is wrong with today’s gaming industry

A new Far Cry 3 footage emerged today, courtesy of GameTrailers, and showcases what is wrong with the gaming industry these days. You see, Far Cry is known for its freedom. Yeah, freedom (mark this word because it’s really important). However, Ubisoft seems unable to offer what all of their fans have been asking all these years. Instead, the company decided to go the Uncharted route and include one hell of scripted events and scripted gameplay sequences that were made exclusively for that scene. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Alpha – Live Action Short Film Released

Ubisoft has released the 25-minutes live action short film that is inspired by and serves as a prequel to the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier game.  Players should watch carefully, as – somewhere in the movie – there is a code that will unlock exclusive weapons for use in Future Soldier. Ghost Recon Alpha invites players into the future of war with the US Armed Forces’ point of spear. Inserted deep behind enemy lines, the Ghosts must strike swiftly to eliminate one of the world’s most feared war criminals, and vanish as they came. Enjoy! Beyond Good & Evil 2 – New Screenshots and Environmental Video

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Ubisoft was still working on Beyond Good & Evil 2. This information was unveiled back in 2011, therefore we didn’t feel the need to inform you about it. Since then, however, we got our hands on new screenshots and an environmental video of it. Keep in mind that this pre-alpha footage and there is no information about the game’s release date.
