Ubisoft has announced that a new update for Assassin’s Creed III will be released later today on for all platforms. According to its changelog, this new update will prepare Ubisoft’s title for the upcoming release of the Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy DLC, will add loyalty unlocks to the PC version and will fix various SP and MP issues. The Open Beta give access to most of the game modes (except Heroes, Royal Exp and Elite Exp), servers and maps. In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington. VG247 has posted a new video in which cinematic director David Footman talks about the latest Splinter Cell game. What’s interesting here is that for the first time, a Ubisoft employee officially admits that Conviction was developed in order to be a fast-paced action title, while at the same time abandoning its stealthy roots. Well, it took them a while to admit it. David believes that Blacklist will be something different, though, and Ubisoft’s designers are working hard to provide stealth approaches to every single level. Enjoy! Our reader ‘Bryce Jurgensmeier’ has informed us about a new live-action ‘Splinter Cell’ short film, created by Devin Graham. This short film was inspired by the Paladin airplane that is included in the Blacklist Collector’s Edition (which does flies mind you). Ubisoft announced today the release of the 0.10.0 update for its free-to-play PC shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online. This latest game update brings a host of new content, including the Holdout game mode, the Balaklava Sub Pen map and the Clan Match feature, as well as several game service improvements and fixes.
