Techland’s Hellraid Gets Delayed To 2014

Techland announced today that its upcoming game, Hellraid, will be released digitally in 2014. The game was originally slated for a 2013 release, however the team is currently hard at work adding new features and game modes for both single-player and co-op. Hellraid Gets “Edyn’s Escape” Interactive Movie Prequel

Techland released today a prequel movie for Hellraid, offering a glimpse of its story-driven co-op slasher in which the viewer decides what happens next. Edyn’s Escape is set in the environments from the game and uses items available during gameplay. The movie’s action takes place two weeks before the events from the game where players will be fighting forces of Hell for the survival of mankind. The main goal in Edyn’s Escape is to escape from a monastery overrun by hellish monsters as the viewer plays the role of a monk named Edyn. Techland’s Zombie Parkour Title ‘Dying Light’ Gets A 12 Minutes Gameplay Trailer

Warner Bros and IGN have released a 12 minutes gameplay trailer for Techland’s upcoming zombie-themed parkour FPS title, Dying Light. As you may have guessed, Dying Light is basically a Dead Island meets Mirror’s Edge mashup. Naturally, the game borrows some animations from Dead Island, so no; this is not a ‘true’ next-gen title. Still, it looks better than Techland’s previous zombie title, so make sure to check it out. Dying Light is currently planned for a 2014 release on PC, PS3, X360, PS4 and Xbox One. Enjoy! Techland’s Hellraid Gets An E3 Trailer

Techland has revealed the E3 trailer of Hellraid, its upcoming first-person co-op slasher for PC, X360 and PS3. Hellraid is said to offer two games in one: a single-player, story-driven campaign of hack & slash action and a co-operative multiplayer that pits four players against the denizens of hell – and each other – in a battle for points, rewards and fame. When Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was first announced, we were a little bit worried about it. A downloadable-only title that had a cel-shaded look? “What has Techland done to the franchise that was always packed with great visuals?” we wondered. But then Call of Juarez: The Cartel came back to our minds and brought us back to reality, reminding us how awful it actually was. Man, now that was a train wreck. Thankfully though, Ubisoft and Techland took the right decision this time around and surprised us pleasantly. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a really fun game, and looks miles better than The Cartel. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Update 1.01 Released – Fixes Stuttering, Offers FOV Options

Techland has released the first patch for the PC version of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. According to its changelog, this update patches up heavy stuttering when using certain keyboard and mouse models and fixes some sound issues that were present on 7.1 speaker configurations. In addition, this update offers PC gamers the ability to tweak the game’s FOV to their liking and to disable the black borders (via the video.ini file).
