Here is 45 minutes of gameplay footage from Star Citizen Alpha 3.0

At this year’s Gamescom, Cloud Imperium showcased the highly anticipated alpha 3.0 version of Star Citizen, and below you can find a video showing 45 minutes of gameplay footage from it. Star Citizen Alpha 3.0 will feature planetary landings, persistent universe content, a new back-end item system, implementation of commodities, trading, automated cargo buy/sell kiosks, and, indirectly, piracy, as well as network improvements and user interface enhancements. Cloud Imperium has released a new trailer for Star Citizen, showcasing all the new features that will be included in its Alpha 3.0 version. Star Citizen 3.0 detailed, will let players try out planetary tech, will feature major performance optimizations

Cloud Imerium Games announced the production schedule for Star Citizen 3.0. According to the team, this schedule update is a Star Citizen roadmap for the remainder of 2017. Star Citizen 2.6.2 is now live, adds support for Mega Map and ultra widescreen 21:9 monitors

Cloud Imperium has released a new update for Star Citizen. This patch will update the game’s version to 2.6.2 and features the Mega Map for Multiplayer Arena Commander and Star Marine, new implementations to its ongoing network code updates, and the new Drake Buccaneer. Star Citizen will support the Vulkan API and will eventually drop DirectX 11 support

Cloud Imperium’s Alistair Brown has revealed that Star Citizen will support the Vulkan API – instead of DirectX 12 – in the near future. As Brown claimed, Cloud Imperium will be using Vulkan as it is available on all the latest Windows operating system and sports the same feature set and performance advantages of DX12. Cyberpunk 2077’s CG trailer recreated in Star Marine

Now here is a really cool recreation. Star Citizen Polska has released a video, showcasing Cyberpunk 2077’s CG trailer being recreated in Star Marine. Star Marine is the first-person shooter module of Star Citizen, powered by Amazon’s Lumberyard Engine. For comparison purposes, we’ve also included below the original CG trailer for Cyberpunk 2077.
