Slightly Mad Studios has released a new patch for Project CARS on Steam. According to its release notes, this patch comes with general game stability improvements and improves VOIP quality for the in-game chat system. Project CARS – Patch 5.0 Now Available, Changelog Released

Slightly Mad Studios has released a new patch for its racing game, Project CARS. This new update improves support for Oculus Rift rendering to desktop and headset simultaneously, improves AI behaviour in pit lanes, and comes with a number of control, tracks and vehicles tweaks/fixes. Project CARS – Latest 3.0 Version versus Release Version – FPS and Rain Effects Comparison

The unofficial FB page of Project CARS shared the following video, comparing the game’s release version with its latest one. As we can see, Slightly Mad Studios has improved the game’s rain effects without affecting its overall performance. We still believe that these effects are not up to what Driveclub offers, but at least they are better than those feature in the release version. Enjoy! Project CARS – Patch 3.0 Release Notes Unveiled, Will Enhance Telemetry Tyre Info & Weather System

Slightly Mad Studios is currently working on a new patch for Project CARS, and has just revealed its changelog. This update will add a Multiplayer Spectate Mode, will fix a number of bugs, and will enhance the game’s Cut Track detection system, HUD and Telemetry tyre info system, as well as its Weather system. Project CARS – Patch 2.0 Changelog Unveiled – Improves Performance, Tweaks AI & Controls

Slightly Mad Studios has revealed the release notes for Project CARS’ upcoming patch. According to the team, this new patch will bring up to 5% frame rate improvement when using Ultra settings, as well as various AI and control tweaks/adjustments. Project CARS – New Rain Effects Come Close To Those Of Driveclub

Driveclub has undeniable some of the best rain effects we’ve ever seen in a racing game. And while Project CARS looks amazing, its rain effects did not come close to those found in its big console rival. But that may change as Slightly Mad Studios is working on improving Project CARS’ rain effects. YouTube’s member ‘Darren White’ has released a video from a new version of Project CARS – that is not live yet – showing the improved rain effects.
