Phantasy Star Online fans, get ready for the pre-open beta phase of PSO2. PSO2 (aka Phantasy Star Online 2) will be free-to-play, meaning that gamers can play quests and story missions for free. Free players will not have limits imposed on their class levels nor playing time. They will not allow the direct sales of highly over powerful weapons that could affect game balancing. It’s been a while since our last look at SEGA’s MMORPG, Phantasy Star Online 2. Today, Guru3D’s member ‘ezodagrom’ has decided to share some new gameplay footage from the closed beta phase of Phantasy Star Online 2 that can be viewed below. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free-to-play and an item transaction system will be how it’ll make money. Phantasy Star Online 2 is a sequel to SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online, which was an online co-op action rpg that was released for the Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox and PC. And here are today three new screenshots for it. The game is slated for release on the PC sometime later this year or the next in Japan. Sadly, there is no information yet about an english release.
