It appears that reviewers are currently benchmarking the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti and RTX 2080 graphics cards and the first leaks have surfaced. At GTC Japan 2018, Jensen Huang claimed that both the GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080Ti will be able to run the latest games in 4K with 60fps, even without DLSS. Jensen shared two graphics in which we see both the RTX 2080 and the RTX 2080Ti outperforming the current fastest gaming NVIDIA GPU, the GeForce GTX1080Ti, in 4K. Nine new games will support NVIDIA’s DLSS tech, including Darksiders 3 and OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead
NVIDIA has announced that nine new games will support its upcoming new supersampling technique that will be exclusive to its RTX series, DLSS. DLSS stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling and will be using the Tensor Cores and the AI in order to super sample the resolution to higher values. Shadow of the Tomb Raider releases in a few days and from the looks of it, it will be a demanding title in 4K. Insomnia’s Spartan117 has shared an image from the built-in benchmark in which the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti can run the game with an average of 47fps and a minimum of 40fps in 4K on Ultra settings.
