THIEF – PC Performance Analysis

THIEF was advertised as a game that would take advantage of the PC platform. The PC version is handled by Nixxes Software, the team that was behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Hitman: Absolution and Tomb Raider. Both Hitman: Absolution and Tomb Raider were unable to make good use of quadcores, therefore there were some CPU issues that affected those with weaker systems. This was precisely why we asked EIDOS Montreal whether THIEF would break free from that ‘tricore’ trend. Unfortunately, this is another title in which quadcores perform identical to tricores. And while there are no obviously advantages for quadcore users, we are happy to report that THIEF runs better than the two aforementioned titles. Continue reading THIEF – PC Performance Analysis

Deus Ex: The Fall – First PC Screenshots Unveiled

Square Enix has revealed that first screenshots from the PC version of Deus Ex: The Fall. Unfortunately, the game shows its iOS roots and we were a bit disappointed with the quality of its textures that are currently demonstrated. Moreover, it appears that there is no tessellation support (expect blocky characters). Deus Ex: The Fall is planned for a March 25th release on Steam! THIEF will NOT Launch with Mantle Support, Coming in March via a Patch

THIEF will be the second game that will support AMD’s new API, Mantle. And while Nixxes Software and Square Enix claimed that the game would support Mantle from the get-go, EIDOS Montreal’s ‘Valerie Bourdeau’ revealed that this won’t be the case after all. THIEF Gets A Launch Trailer

Square Enix has released the launch trailer of THIEF. THIEF is out next week, so take a sneaky peek at the launch trailer containing new sections of gameplay and glimpses at some key encounters that lie in wait for Garrett. Here Is 17 Minutes Of Gameplay Footage From The PC Version Of THIEF

THIEF fans, here is something for you today. Square Enix and EIDOS Montreal have released a new video for THIEF, featuring 17 minutes of gameplay footage from its PC version. According to the team, the PC that was used for this recording featured an AMD FX 8350 that was paired with 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7990, 125GB SSD and Windows 7. Enjoy! THIEF – Stories from The City – Part 3 – “The Thief Taker General’s Hunt”

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming remake of THIEF, in which we get to know the Thief-Taker General. Tomb Raider – GOTY PC Releases On January 31st, Available For Pre-Orders

Our reader ‘SickSilvo’ has done some extensive research for the PC version of Tomb Raider: GOTY. Although there is no release date yet for that particular edition, we do know that it is coming to the PC.
