Here Are The Graphics Options That Dark Souls 2 Will Support

OnlySP has spotted the graphics options that will be supported in the PC version of Dark Souls 2. Naturally, take everything you’re about to read with a grain of salt. According to the leaked image, the PC version will let gamers set the quality of textures, shadows, water surface, models and overall effects. There is no doubt – at this point – that the retail version of Dark Souls 2 looks awful and lacks the lighting system that was advertised when the game was original advertised. Dark Souls 2 Massively Downgraded – New Video Comparison Between Retail & April 2013 Builds

I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard the recent reports of Dark Souls 2’s ‘downgradeation’. Well, it appears that those reports were legit after all. YouTube’s member ‘HyperBitHero’ has posted a video that compares the final build with the April 2013 build. As we can clearly see, the final build feels flat and washed out compared to the earlier build. Moreover, the use of specular maps has been decreased for no apparent reason. The PC version of Dark Souls 2 is planned for an April release, so it will be interesting to see whether that version will be able to match the April 2013 build. Enjoy! Dark Souls 2 – PC System Requirements Unveiled

Namco Bandai has revealed – via the game’s official store page – the PC system requirements for Dark Souls 2. According to the publisher, Dark Souls 2 will require 8GB of HDD, a dual-core processor and at least 2GB of RAM. In addition, the game will be playable on Windows XP. Dark Souls 2 – Official PC Release Date Announced

Namco Bandai and From Software have just announced that the PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be coming on April 25th. According to the publisher, the PC & Steam version of Dark Souls 2 will benefit from PC capabilities with increased texture resolution and an enhanced frame rate option. Dark Souls 2 Coming To The PC On April 25th… Maybe

According to a leaked image, the PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be released on April 25th. That’s one month and 10 days after the console release that is planned for March 14th. Namco Bandai did not reveal the reasons behind this delay, though it has assured us in the past that Dark Souls 2 PC won’t be plagued by the issues of its predecessor.
