THQ Nordic will release a physical retail version of Halo Wars 2 for the PC

THQ Nordic announced that it’s partnering with Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries to bring Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10 to retail stores worldwide via physical packaging release. In addition, purchases of the physical retail release of Halo Wars 2 on Windows 10 PC will grant digital access to the Xbox One version via Xbox Play Anywhere. It appears that Microsoft is working on a “Game Mode” for Windows 10 that will improve performance while playing games. According to WindowsCentral, this mode is featured in the recently leaked build 14997, although it isn’t working yet, and will be available very soon to Insiders. Halo Wars: Definitive Edition is now available on the PC in Early Access

Microsoft has just released the Definitive Edition of Halo Wars in Early Access. Halo Wars is coming for the first time to the PC, is exclusive to Microsoft’s Windows 10, and is currently available to all those who have pre-ordered the digital version of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition.
