Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 reaches one million units, to be re-released at a reduced price

In celebration of one million units sold throughout Latin America, Konami Digital Entertainment has announced it’s re-releasing its hit game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 on April 10th at lower prices for a number of formats. The game, originally released in September 2011, has been praised for its realism and key advances, and its low price will make it a key signing for soccer fans. The lower price gives new fans the opportunity to pick up the controller and play against friends in what is regarded as the most authentic soccer game in the market. Lovely Metal Gear Solid Medley (Acoustic Guitar Cover) by Simon Leong and Alasdair Poon

There is no denying that MGS features one of the best soundtracks. Once you hear its theme, it gets stuck in your head. And in the past, we’ve seen some amazing covers and reworks of it. Who can forget the fabulous Metal Gear May Cry OCRemix that was made by Jared  Hudson? And today we have an amazing combilation of various themes from the series that were arranged for an acoustic guitar duo by Simon Leong, and performed by Simon Leong and Alasdair Poon. Metal Gear fans, be sure to check this out. You’ll love it. Oh, and we’ve included Hudson’s mashup of Metal Gear Solid and Devil May Cry as it is still one of the best orchestral mashups we’ve ever heard! New PES 2012 DLC To Feature All January Transfers & Kit Updates

Konami Digital released today details of the latest free DLC for PES 2012, which will be released on March 6th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions. The download brings all team rosters up to date, and makes all transfers that took part within the January transfer window. The update also updates the kits of the Spanish, German and Japanese national sides, and adds eight new boot styles from adidas and Nike, and the new adidas Finale Munich ball  that will be used in this year’s UEFA Champions League final. Kojima Productions will develop the next MGS, multiplatform title, recruits at GDC2012, new concept arts

After announcing the Fox Engine back in June last year, Kojima Productions have been hard at work creating their new, unannounced game. The company revealed a teaser back in December but since then, we haven’t heard anything from them. Fast forward some months and here we are today with an interesting concept art that was revealed at the company’s website. This image was present in Kojima Productions jobs page and illustrates a familiar character. PES 2012 gets another update; comes with improved goalkeepers

Konami has just announced that a new update is now available for their soccer game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. This update will come with improvements to the performance of goalkeepers, option to search for opponents based on their pass support settings, as well as adjusted Speed Star skill card for better and improved realism. Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 – Second DLC Is Out Now

Konami has just released the second, free, DLC for their acclaimed soccer game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. This new DLC adds improved goalkeeper performance, removes the stuttering effect during running, makes small adjustments to the penalty and free-kick systems, and fixes some small bugs that have been reported. PES 2012 – Stutter Run Fix Coming In November

There’s been a lot of talk about PES 2012’s stutter issue. This stuttering bug occurs whenever the first player runs for a long time and it’s one of the well-known bugs of the entire PES series. In short words, if you are pressing the sprint button for a couple of seconds, the player will inexcusably stop and then start running again. PES 2012 – myPES app has gone live on Facebook

Konami has released the full version of its myPES App, allowing PES 2012 users to create bespoke leagues and showcase results from any one-against-one matches – both online and offline – played with friends. The free myPES Facebook App is available now for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC PES 2012 players, and is a special tool that allows users to invite friends into personalised leagues and share match results among friends via their Facebook walls. PES 2012 – Custom Celebrations Showcase Michael Jackson’s Moonwalking

This is seriously brilliant and a great easter egg. We couldn’t believe it at first, but this legendary Moonwalk celebration can be found in PES 2012 and you won’t have to mod the game to actually enjoy it. All you have to do is to go to the game plan, edit player, head over to movements and choose the ’91’ celebration type.
