Denuvo anti-tamper tech has been removed from HITMAN

IO Interactive has rolled out a new patch for HITMAN that has removed its Denuvo anti-tamper tech. We don’t know whether this removal was done on purpose or by accident. After all, we’ve seen in the past other developers rolling out patches for their games without the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, only to re-implement it later via another patch. The first episode of HITMAN will be available for free to everyone later today

IO Interactive has announced that the first episode of HITMAN will be available to everyone for free later today. The download includes absolutely everything that we’ve released for that location; two story missions (including all cut-scenes), two Escalation Contracts, more than 40 challenges, 17 achievements and trophies, plus thousands of player-created missions in Contracts Mode. IO-Intercative is now an independent studio, owns the full rights to the Hitman IP

IO Interactive has just announced that it is now officially an independent studio. This basically means that the studio will have complete control over its direction and the Hitman IP. Square Enix is selling IO Interactive, the studio behind HITMAN

Square Enix has announced that it is selling the studio behind the HITMAN games, IO Interactive. As the press release reads, in order maximize player satisfaction as well as market potential going forward, Square Enix will be focusing its resources and energies on key franchises and studios. HITMAN – November update detailed, releases later today

IO Interactive will release later today a brand new update for HITMAN. This new patch includes improvements across the board, will fix different issues across all locations that previously resulted in the game crashing or becoming unstable, and adds the ability for 47 to pull people over balconies or out of windows, when he is hanging on a ledge or below the balcony/window.
