Half-Life VR For Oculus Rift Looks Epically Amazing, New Video Showcases Head & Gun Tracking

Half Life
Nathan Andrews has released a new video, showcasing his Half-Life Oculus Rift mod. Half-Life 2: Enhancement Mod Promises To Overhaul Games’ Visuals, Will Support POM & Dynamic Shadows

Half Life
Half Life 2 is still considered one of the best FPS games to date. Naturally, Valve’s FPS starts to show its age, and that’s why we recommend using mods such the mind-blowing Cinematic Mod. Despite the fact that this particular mod overhaul the game’s visuals (the texture work that has been done to it is among the best we’ve ever seen), a lot of gamers were put off by the alternative models of some characters. If you were one of them, you’ll be happy to here that a team of modders is working on a new graphical mod for Half Life 2 called Half-Life 2: Enhancement Mod. Half-Life 2 and Dishonored share someone in common

Ever wondered why Dishonored’s Dunwall looks so close to Half-Life 2’s City 17? Well, that is because these two games share a common art director, Viktor Antonov. Speaking with Eurogamer, Antonov revealed that he was the man responsible for Half-Life 2’s City 17, its suburbs and the alien Combine architecture and technology. Since Valve stopped producing games though, Antonov collaborated with Arkane to do Dishonored. And that’s precisely why Dunwall looks so close to City 17. This bad boy has been in development for lots of years and although a lot of people think that it’s just a vaporware and nothing more, the team behind it has just released a brand new screenshot from its latest build. Now I’ll be honest here; it does look great. Yeah, this is a Source game but the level of detail is great and can keep up with today’s standards. Let’s just hope that the game will get released… someday… in the next coming years. Enjoy! Continue reading New Black Mesa Screenshot Released
