Weekly GTA IV Gallery [March 25th – 31st]

Lately, we’ve asking ourselves one simple question: what makes a great screenshot? Is it the insane amount of detail, the clever camera angles, the extensive use of post-process effects, how close it can get to actual photos or how lovely its artistic direction can actually be? It’s a really weird question and there is no definite answer to that. Take for example the work of jin.dot.gae1 and orangebrains. Their images are nowhere closer to real photos but they have something unique, something mesmerizing. On the other hand, j1731’s shots can’t be easily mistaken for real photos and that makes them unique in their own way. In the end, a great in-game screenshot is – in our opinion – the screenshot that will leave you speechless and will make you re-install and play that game. And the following shots made us do exactly that. Enjoy and special thanks to modders schakusa, 3lajitz, DenDi333, legacyy, King of K, Jaizeta, Black_D, Simple999 and ngt for capturing them! New drooling GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.1 Screenshots, new version supports indirect lighting

Hayssam Keilany has released some amazing screenshots from his on-going 2.1 version of iCEnhancer for GTA IV. What’s really important here is that this version will support indirect lighting which – naturally – results to better image quality. The downside of this lighting method is that it introduces a slight ‘glow’ under car wheels. It can be noticed in some of the following screenshots. There is no ETA for this mod as of yet, so stay tuned for more news about it. Enjoy! Continue reading New drooling GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.1 Screenshots, new version supports indirect lighting

New GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.1 screenshots will make you a believer

Well, time to find out as Hayssam Keilany posted some new screenshots from the latest build of his mod. These new screenshots blow out of the water the first iCEnhancer 2.1 shots, especially when it comes to color saturation. GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.1 Details; supports Steam/1070 versions, Colors/Shadows are completely redone

Hayssam Keilany has revealed some new details about his upcoming 2.1 version of GTA IV iCEnhancer. According to the modder, iCEnhancer 2.1 will feature reworked colors and shadows. Moreover, the sun, sky, sunlight, and shadows colors are changed while the shadow intensity has been further tweaked. We should also note that Keilany based the 2.1 version colors on pics he did himself, meaning that this new version will be even better when it comes to its color settings. At least that’s the plan.
