Insane Office Escape is an impressive Live-Action Short Film that is based on Mirror’s Edge

We’ve seen various Mirror’s Edge adaptations but nothing can come close to the production values of Insane Office Escape. The film is directed and edited by Ilya Naishuller and shot by Sergei Valyaev and Ilya Naishuller. As the title suggests, it showcases an escape attempt from an office and looks quite phenomenal. We’d like to see more parkour moves but still, this is clearly the way a Mirror’s Edge movie should actually be. Enjoy the video after the jump. You may have heard him as he is the one behind the amazing POM + AF mod, a mod that is essential to pretty much everyone that wants to replay Crytek’s game and enables parallax occlusion mapping with Anisotropic Filtering. As most of you, we don’t understand the logic behind this move and apparently Starbreeze can’t convince us. Neil McEwan – the game’s director – stated that time has moved on but let us ask you this; How many isometric, tactical games are out there now? And how many generic FPS? We rest our case.
