Electronic Arts has released a new gameplay walkthrough for Criterion Games’s Need For Speed: Most Wanted. This is an Insider walkthrough that gives us the chance to check out the open world of Fairhaven City, and the high-octane races and chases that take place within. As promised, Electronic Arts has released the interactive single player campaign trailer for Crysis 3. In Crysis 3, players will take control of Prophet, and decide the best strategy to take care of their objective. Whether they decide to silently stalk soldiers through the swamp with Stealth, or transform into an immovable object that cannot be stopped by conventional firepower with Armor — Crysis 3 allows players to become the Hunter. Since the day of Source Filmmaker’s release, we’ve been getting videos and screenshots that were focused on Team Fortress 2. Well, not anymore. Reddit’s user ‘jediyoshi’ shared today some drooling Mass Effect 3 scenes that were created via Source’s Filmmaker. Five new Dead Space 3 screenshots have been unveiled today that showcase a new type of enemy – called Feeders – for Visceral Games third-person action game. As the planet lies in a state of starvation, the humans inhabiting the planet have taken to eating the Necromorph beings and in turn are transformed into Feeders. To be honest, these new screenshots look colorless and average at best. Add to it that the game won’t be focused on the horror elements and you got yourself a somehow generic third-person game. Crytek and Electronic Arts have been really open to the free-to-play idea and EA’s Chief Executive, John Riccitiello, decided to explain why his company is so friendly to this particular model. Riccitiello believes that PC is the fastest growing platform for video games and that there’s a lot of power in free-to-play. Crytek’s Lighting Artist, Pierre-Yves Donzallaz, has revealed four new screenshots for Crysis 3. These new images showcase gorgeous lighting effects and we can safely say that Crysis 3 will feature better textures than Crysis 2. We should also note that Crysis 3 PC will get some extra love from Crytek and will support DX11 from the get-go. The game is currently slated for a Spring 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy! Normally, we’d include these screenshots in our weekly CryEngine 3 gallery but they’re so hot that we felt the need to share them with you as soon as possible. A lot of gamers think that CryEngine 3 is inferior to CryEngine 2 (because Crysis 1 looks better than Crysis 2), however CryEngine 3 can achieve CG quality graphics as can be seen by the works of modder Puppy and 3D artist Mark Ranson. We really hope that next-generation games will look this good and if you thought that Project CARS’ car models looked phenomenal, wait until you see the one created by Ranson. Enjoy!
