Modder ‘Mechadon’ has released the final version of his Doom 64 remake in Doom 2, called D64D2. This Doom 64 remake in Doom 2 basically brings all the map layouts from Doom 64 in the classic Doom 2 game with assets from Doom 2 for all enemies and objects. Modder ‘Nevander’ has released a brand new version of Doom 64: Retribution. Doom 64: Retribution is a full remake and “port” of Doom 64 for the Nintendo 64 to the GZDoom engine. The goal of the project is to be mostly accurate to the original game as well as add very minor improvements for that extra bit of polish.
DOOM 64 has had it’s weapons, monsters, textures, menus and music copied and converted so it is playable on DOOM 1 and 2. This is called “DOOM 64 Vanilla” and is giving everyone the free opportunity to experience DOOM 1 and 2 but with a DOOM 64 skin overlay.

This new version comes with new kick attacks (as well as a stamina mechanic in order to prevent spam), improved fire rate for the chaingun, a new weapon (Assault Rifle), Chaingun Zombies and a “Tactical” mode.
