Mirror’s Edge Catalyst – New patch released & detailed, improves performance

DICE has released a new patch for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. According to the changelog, this patch improves HW auto detect functionality, improves overall performance and comes with improvements for quad core machines in regards to an issue that caused a desync in audio during cut scenes. YouTube’s member ‘DANNYonPC’ has shared a video, showing what Mirror’s Edge Catalyst looks like in third-person mode. In order to achieve something like that, DANNYonPC used the Cinematic Tools by Matti Hietanen. It’s a pretty cool video, especially since Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is designed as a first-person game (which explains why Faith’s animations are a bit stiff). Enjoy!
