While Electronic Arts and DICE delayed the release of Battlefield 5 by a month, it appears that the game will be lacking a lot of content when it comes out. Electronic Arts, Criterion Games and DICE have revealed the first official details about Battlefield 5’s upcoming battle royale mode, Firestorm. Firestorm promises to elevate battle royale by bringing in the best of what Battlefield is known for as it will mix a shrinking playing field with trademark Battlefield elements such as team play, powerful vehicles, and destruction. The open beta phase for Battlefield 5 has been launched and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it on Ultra settings. Battlefield 5 is powered by Frostbite 3 Engine and supports both DX12 and DX11. However, and since both our AMD and our NVIDIA hardware performed better under DX11, we’ve decided to use that API.
