As we’ve already reported, DICE has enabled the real-time ray tracing RTX effects in Battlefield 5 via its day-1 patch. Battlefield 5 day-1 patch adds DXR real-time ray tracing support

Electronic Arts has released the day-1 patch for Battlefield 5 for all platforms. According to the release notes, this first patch adds further improvements to game client stability, resolves an issue which would make the menus unusable when cancelling a matchmaking session and brings support to DXR real-time ray tracing. New Battlefield 5 trailer showcases its launch multiplayer maps

Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Battlefield 5 that showcases the multiplayer maps that will be available at its launch. According to its description, players will fight through the unexplored settings of World War 2 on maps that will challenge their squad in epic multiplayer experiences. Battlefield 5 official PC requirements revealed, includes exclusive requirements for NVIDIA’s RTX Tech

Electronic Arts and DICE have revealed the official PC requirements for Battlefield 5. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD FX-8350 or an Intel Core i5 6600K with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon RX 560/HD 7850 graphics card. Battlefield 5 battle royale mode, Firestorm, will be available in Spring 2019

Electronic Arts and DICE have revealed the roadmap for Battlefield 5 and as we can see, its battle royale mode, Firestorm, will be coming out in Spring 2019. In other words, this mode will be delayed by at least four months, allowing Black Ops 4 to win over all those thirsty for a triple-A battle royale game. Battlefield 5 will offer 60hz server tickrates on the PC, 120hz in smaller modes

I’m pretty sure that some gamers have been wondering about the server tickrates of Battlefield 5, especially after the revelation of the awful server tickrates for Call of Duty Black Ops 4. Battlefield 5 gets an official single-player trailer

Electronic Arts has released the official single-player trailer for Battlefield 5. In Nordlys, players will resist German occupation in Norway, sabotage behind enemy lines as an unlikely English soldier in Under No Flag, fight for a home they’ve never seen in Tirailleur, and in The Last Tiger (available in December) join the crew of a Tiger I as they question why they fight. A couple of days ago, we shared a video showing Max Payne 3 running in 8K resolution on Max settings. Now while it was glorious to see this game running in 8K, we are certain that some of our fans would be more interested in newer titles running at such ridiculous resolutions.
