Deep Silver released today the launch trailer of Risen 2: Dark Waters. In Risen 2: Dark Waters, the Inquisition dispatches the hero to seek a remedy against the monstrous sea creatures that are interfering with the shipping lines, thus cutting off the islands’ supplies. The pirates seem to know how to deal with these critters… but they are hardly cooperative. The game is slated for release tomorrow on the PC and on August 3rd for consoles. Enjoy! Deep Silver and X1 Software/AWAR today revealed new details on the multiplayer mode and the editor of the upcoming tactical shooter “Iron Front – Liberation 1944”. Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes today released the fifth episode of the six part making of series that will become available over the course of the next months. In this episode, the developers from Piranha Bytes discuss the different fighting options in the game and explain how fighting is just one of the options allowing players to progress in the game, and how avoiding the fight can solve quests too. Deep Silver and X1 Software released today a new trailer for their upcoming tactical shooter that is powered by ArmA 2’s engine, Iron Front – Liberation 1944. The story takes place in southern Poland during the Soviet Offensive in the summer of 1944. The player takes on the role of a Russian or German infantryman, using teamwork, tactical skill and authentic war machines to battle for victory. Good news for Risen 2 fans, as the Steam version is now available for pre-order. The game is priced at 49.99 euros and can be pre-purchased from here. Those who decide to pre-order it will receive the Risen 2 Treasure Isle DLC for free. Risen 2 takes place several years after the end of Risen, where raging titans have devastated the world and pushed humanity to the brink of existence. Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming pirated-theme RPG, Risen 2: Dark Waters. Risen 2 is the sequel to one of the best RPGs of 2009 and although we have faith in Piranha Bytes, we can’t help but notice its dated game engine. Although the game has a unique style, its animation system is really old-gen and – generally speaking – the graphics seem rough around it edges.
