Total War fans, this is for you. Gamespot has unveiled today the first gameplay walkthrough of Creative Assmebly’s upcoming Total War: Rome 2 game. This walkthrough is from the Siege of Carthage mission that will be featured in it, and showcases the amazing visuals that will be present on this new strategy game. The Creative Assembly, has launched the Total War: SHOGUN 2 Assembly Kit; a suite of tools that enables ground-up modification of the entire Total War: SHOGUN 2 product family. This release also includes an update to TEd (the existing Battle Map Editor), which enables Steam Workshop integration and the ability to create scripted single-player historical battles. A sample historical battle, custom-built by The Creative Assembly, is available now on Steamworks to give new modders a convenient starting point. Total War: Rome II promises to combine the most expansive turn-based campaign and the largest, most cinematic real-time battles yet seen in any game, and if this gameplay trailer is anything to go by, it will able to achieve something like that. Creative Assembly has confirmed today that it is developing the next part in the Total War: Rome series, Total War: Rome II. According to its press release, the game will be published by SEGA and will take players into the dangerous political machinations of Rome’s senate, while asking them to struggle with family dilemmas and question the loyalty of ‘friends’ and allies. Modder ‘DARTH__VADER’ has released a new version of his DarthMod mod for Creative Assembly’s strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2. DarthMod 4.0 comes with bayonets support. Bayonets are finally available thanks to the mod of IGdood and kungfuserge and DarthMod has used this mod’s technique to enable Bayonets and balanced the stats accordingly.
