Bohemia Interactive released today a bunch of new screenshots and as always, they look lovely. Especially that screenshot with the plane clearly showcases that ArmA 3 can push better visuals than those of BF3. And the attention to detail on Nikos Panagopoulos’ character is astounding. ArmA 3 sports spectacular visuals and might be the best visually – and most demanding – PC game. The game is slated for release next year, exclusively on the PC. ArmA fans, get ready to relive Bohemia Interactive’s debut military sim that was originally published by Codemasters as Operation Flashpoint in 2001 and won a lot of awards. So basically, ArmA: Cold War Assault is the old original re-branded Operation: Flashpoint together with Resistance and 1.99 patch. Meridian4 announced today that Bohemia Interactive’s new stand-alone, expansion pack, ArmA II: Reinforcementshas reported for duty at retail. As an added bonus, the game available at North American retail outlets also contains the previously released Operation Arrowhead campaign and its stand-alone missions, and a detailed two-sided, printed map of the regions covered in the game. This agreement with Koch Media covers exclusive distribution rights for boxed copies of ARMA X: Anniversary Edition for the UK/ Eire, Nordic, Benelux and South Africa.
