EA’s special offer with Mass Effect 3 pre-order ends early; no more free copies of BF3 for you

Two days ago, EA announced an amazing offer for all North American gamers. According to the company, those who’d pre-order Mass Effect 3 would be getting a free copy of Battlefield 3’s digital version. The only thing you had to do was add the Mass Effect 3 pre-order to your shopping cart and  a code for Battlefield 3 would be emailed to you by March 8, 2012. Mass Effect 3 – Nvidia’s FXAA Overview Video

Our dear friends at EVGA have uploaded a video to showcase Nvidia’s FXAA technology in Mass Effect 3. As we can see, FXAA does a great work at smoothing out the game’s jaggies but introduces a slight blur effect. Those interested in a different method can go ahead and try the SMAA Injector that offers even better results in most games, without blurring the image. We are not certain though if SMAA Injector is compatible with BioWare’s RPG, so use it at your own risk. Enjoy the overview video after the jump. Mass Effect 3 PC Demo Is Now Available

PC gamers, get ready for a taste of Mass Effect 3 as the PC demo has just been released and is available on Origin. The Mass Effect 3 demo is around 2.1GB and features over two hours of the groundbreaking single player campaign and action packed co-op multiplayer missions. Star Wars: The Old Republic Patch 1.1.3 Is Now Live

BioWare and Electronic Arts have released the latest update for their Star Wars MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic. With this latest version of SWTOR, players are no longer occasionally disconnected from the game when interacting with a mailbox, while mouse click functionality has been improved. Mass Effect 3 has gone Gold

Mass Effect fans, get ready to finish Shepard’s fight as Mass Effect 3 has gone Gold. According to the game’s official Facebook page, Mass Effect 3 has officially gone gold and the discs are being pressed and will be distributed to stores around the globe for the launch on March 6th, 2012. And as you may already know, the game’s PC demo will be made available tomorrow and will give you a taste of what’s to come. Star Wars: The Old Republic patch 1.1.2 notes revealed

Even though the 1.1.1 patch has gone live yesterday, BioWare is already testing the new, upcoming 1.1.2 patch and has revealed the changes that were made to it. This patch is currently available on the public test servers and comes with fixes and improvements that have been made to the game’s classes that wield the Force. Mass Effect 3 – Voice Cast Reveal + New Screenshots

BioWare has unveiled today the cast for 2012’s first blockbuster game, Mass Effect 3. The ensemble will see the return of fan favorites, including Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man, Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale as Male and Female Shepard and will introduce Freddie Prinze, Jr. as James Vega, a marine who will help Commander Shepard take Earth back. Amazing fan-made trailer for Mass Effect

Well looky here, we got us a new, incredible fan-made Mass Effect trailer. YouTube member ‘xRaetastic’ felt the need to create a ‘random internet fan trailer’ for BioWare’s RPG series and we are pretty sure that he didn’t expect it to be featured in so many gaming sites. But we can’t help it as this particular fan-made trailer is one of the best edited things we have ever seen. There is perfect editing, wonderful choice of quotes and song that fits to it.
