Now here is something interesting. It seems that EBGames has leaked the release date of the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria. According to the online shop retailer, Mists of Pandaria will be released on November 13th and is currently priced at $49.99 USD. Moreover, this doesn’t seem like a placeholder as there isn’t any TBC icon near this release date (something that is evident in the Australian store of EBGames). Furthermore, Bol.com has a similar release date, suggesting that Mists of Pandaria is coming this November. Activision Blizzard and Tencent Holdings Limited today announced a strategic relationship to bring Call of Duty Online to Chinese game players. Call of Duty Online has been in development by Activision for approximately two years. Under the multi-year agreement with Activision Publishing, Tencent has the exclusive license to operate Call of Duty Online in mainland China. The lack of a LAN feature in StarCraft 2 is something that has annoyed a lot of the game’s fans. And even though Blizzard was previously hiding behind words and excuses, StarCraft 2’s production director Chris Sigaty admitted that the company removed that feature – mainly – due to piracy. Something that doesn’t shock us at all, as pretty much everyone thought so in the first place. It’s nice though to finally see Blizzard admitting the real reasons behind the lack of it. Modern Warfare 3’s Collection #2 DLC has been out for quite some time on X360 and although Activision has not revealed when this pack will hit our beloved platform, Steam’s registry unveiled that it will be coming really soon. As always, Steam’s registry rarely lies and it was updated yesterday with the inclusion of this second Collection DLC Map Pack. In other words, it should be coming in the next couple of weeks. Unless of course Activision encounters the same problems that Flying Wild Hog faced with the free expansion of Hard Reset.
